In this seminar, Dr. McGladrey, a new faculty with the IPH Center, will share how the Clark County Health Department in rural Winchester, Kentucky, partnered with her team to integrate Photovoice into their fall 2022 community health assessment process. Photovoice is a participatory health research method that engages community partners to photograph areas of strength and concern related to a health issue and critically analyze in focus-groups how and why the health concern persists in their community, toward the goal of co-identifying opportunities for change and health improvement." |
